The municipality is located in the north-east part of Low Beskydy Mountains, in the valley of river Udava. The fi rst written record comes from 1543. The visitors are captured by the Greco-Catholic Church from 1792 and the Orthodox classicistic Church from 1930, inside which the Crypt of soldiers fallen in the World War I. is located.
