The village of Nitrianska Blatnica is already writing its 838-year history this year, during which an unique buildings arose on its territory. Rotunda of St. Juraj the NCM (ca. in 830) is a unique building of its kind in Slovakia but also in Central Europe with the title of National Cultural Monument. Marhát Hill (748 m.a.s.l.) rising above the village with a beautiful lookout point. In the village itself, you can see a Renaissance mansion (1578) with a medieval bastion and an English park, the historic building of
the municipal offi ce and the large classicist church of the Ascension of St. Cross (1821).
